4 Years Since 9/11

My Thoughts On: September 11th, 2005

Well, I'm up late tonight and I just got finished writing a nice little edition to the Campaign 2016 blog on the topic of Hurricane Katrina and the blame game. You will notice the conspicuous absence of any race discussions... I plan to make an update here sometime about the race issue.

However, that isn't what this late night update is all about. I wanted to remind everyone that today is the 4th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Most of us remember where we were on today's date in 2001, because it was one of the most monumental moments in American history.

While I've illustrated many things wrong with the partisan response to the tragedy and the mess of foreign diplomacy and warfare ever since, we should not be so quick to expunge the memory of 9/11 from our national consciousness.

To the memory of those we lost.

On a side note, that means this marks year three of my blog, since I opened the domain on the one year anniversary of 9/11. So, here's to a new year of (somewhat infrequent) updates!

I'm sorry there isn't much more to update for now, but it's late. Go read my article on the 'NAM and then come back to PAOracle.com soon for my take on the race situation.
