(VB6) 'Obsolete Man'

My Thoughts On: February 1st, 2007

So, I've decided the purpose of my video blog is threefold: to document my viewpoints, refine my video editing skills and stop being so camera shy. I figure I need to be a better speaker moreso than a better writer, so I'm going to try to make the video blog a semi-regular feature until I feel I'm improving at those skills. One of these days I'd like to live in a house where I got the space to set up a studio and get better equipment to do recording and make it a more regular thing. Anyways, your viewing options... Update: Since Youtube doesn't review copyright claims another clip I used triggered a complaint which pulled it off their website, so viewing it there is not an option for now.

The Pitch: This episode is about my thoughts on the 2008 Presidential nominees, covered: Barack Obama, John Edwards, Hillary Clinton, Rudy Giuliani and John McCain. Also a short review of Wii's Wario Ware: Smooth Moves, the Pirate Bay's efforts to buy the micronation of Sealand, and my comments on the footage of the prehistoric shark found off the coast of Japan earlier this week. My video vault segment spotlights Gnarls Barkley, and my Icons segment hightlights my favorite civil rights activist, Frederick Douglass. Intro taken from the Twilight Zone's "Obsolete Man" (season 2 episode 29, the 65th episode in the original series).

Please excuse a few bugs in production, minor video stuttering at various points. Hope you enjoy the show!
